Sorry for the delay, you have no idea how difficult it is to compose a text message when you only have stubby no-fingered arms.

My computer is determined not to go five minutes without freezing up at the moment, which means that Mutant Boy is trapped on it and unable to get up to his usual shenanigans. So, in the meantime, enjoy this Original-style comic I drew using my laptop. You may be able to guess what inspired it!

Guess what happens next

For those of you who can't remember back to Easter 2005, here is the event in question in today's comic

It's Mutant Boy's birthday today! The first comic appeared roughly here four years ago, when I drew a crappy "one-off" in MS Paint. I know, I even used Windows back then. Scary!

Happy MBday!

Nivan.net is now back! Next time hopefully I'll realise when the domain is about to expire. That won't be until 2010 now at any rate, huzzah!

Just in case you were wondering just how gargantuan Gargantuan Robot Lol was, I made a diagram packed full of fun facts from Wikipedia. Based on a toothpick being about two-and-a-half inches long, I figure that gives Robot Lol a height in the range of about 15 kilometres.

Hopefully his head is accustomed to being at -50°C (-58°F) and at a pressure of about 0.2 bar. And, like a baby, planes will fly into his mouth

Okay, so it's a bit late this weekend, but I'm sure it's still Sunday somewhere... >.>

I hope everyone in England is enjoying their long weekend!

Spaceman and the Masterful Plot was penned by Luke Whitmore. Credit where credit's due!

Today, January 17 2008, is Costanza Falcon's fifth birthday! To celebrate, I made a special Dimwits episode which can be found here!

I also noticed that none of the cartoon pages were loading the animations properly, so I fixed that too!

Oops, no Mutant Boy in two months! I... uh, I've been very busy. and Xorg broke Wacom tablet support. Good job, Xorg *frown*.

On the plus side, an unscheduled Mutant Boy today, and I have Friday off, so assuming I manage not to waste it playing Lego Star Wars on the Wii, there should be lots more where that came from.

Today's comic was aged by The Gimp. Click here – sorry, no, here – for the original full colour version!

Today's comic has an alternate "Lol is GIR" ending! Clicky!

Vim 7 has spell checking! Mutant Boy is saved!

By the way, thanks J.K. Rowling for spoiling the "last word of the story" reference I used in comic 134! 'Preciate it!

Today's comic also has a copy in the web-safe palette, for those of you who really yearn for the old days!

I got an e-mail from Lol yesterday in my inbox:
Sender: LOL Tahiti
Subject: Rocket Stock Report

The message itself didn't really make too much sense, but based on the above, I think it's pretty obvious that Lol is fed up with being in Egypt and wants to go to Tahiti, possibly by rocket. Maybe Spaceman will help him out with that!

Merry Christmas, everyone! Today's comic is also available as a desktop wallpaper! I think Angry Apple makes a very convincing grumpy old man; don't you?

Wow, I've finally finished transcribing all the episodes of Mutant Boy for the comic search. This means that when you search for an episode you're guaranteed that you're searching the entirety of Mutant Boy!

The Advanced Search page lets you search for individual parts of the comics. This is pretty neat if you want to find all comics that involve a chomping (search for "chomp" in sound effects), or if you want to find all the comics where a character speaks (use 'MB', 'SM', and 'AA' for Mutant Boy, Spaceman, and Angry Apple). Once again thanks to Ryan at OhNoRobot.com for providing this!
